From the time as a child, my Christmas wish list was always topped with baby sister or brother and dog. I would finally get my wish when my father brought home a black Cocker Spaniel with one little white spot on his chest. I named him Lucky, because I was so lucky to have him. Unfortunately after three months, we had to put him to sleep as it was discovered he had distemper as the previous owner had not been responsible to properly vaccinate Lucky. Due to the emotional toll this took on me, I would not get my next dog until 2006 while I was in graduate school. Kingston, my little precious yorkie would be with me for 13 years. He was my heart and soul and became the heart and soul of parents as their only grandchild until 2016 when I was blessed to bring Princeton, a Biewer Terrier into my family. Princeton not only brought additional joy and laughter to me but additional joy to Kingston, a then senior pup. Although there was a couple of weeks of growing pains between the two, they became inseparable until Kingston’s passing in 2019.

If you are a fur parent, you know that your daily stories and photos will be of your human children if you have them and without doubt your fur children.  In the fall of 2018, while having a doggie conversation with a close girlfriend, another fur mom, the idea of starting a business for pets was poised. I immediately began to think about this idea as a true possibility. I went to work with possible business names, logos, and products. I decided that this was indeed something I was passionate about and moved forward with my love of dogs, creativity, and design and created and built Paw Daze, where luxury and elegance meet every day pet living; solidifying our love for pets through the paw print logo made of hearts.
